What do the various lines displayed on the MotionX-GPS Maps page indicate?

  • A dashed green line from the arrow indicates the path to the waypoint you have chosen as your destination using the green Start Nav button on the waypoint details page.
  • A solid red line represents your path while recording a track. Use the Start/Stop/Save controls on the MotionX-Track Recorder page to record and save your track.
  • A dotted red line represents an interpolated path between two points when signal has been lost while recording a track with the Track Recorder.
  • A solid blue line traces your path when MotionX-GPS is open but you are not recording a track. These segments will not be saved as part of your track.
  • A dotted blue line represents an interpolated path between two points when signal has been lost, if you are not using the Track Recorder.
  • A solid orange line represents a previously recorded track that’s being followed.
  • A green flag indicates the start of the track and a checkered flag indicates the end of a track.
